| The Survey Research Ship is a Deep Space Science and Exploration vessel with the primary mission to map and chart unexplored Systems and Planets. After mapping a system, the Survey ships will deploy probes to planets and moons for signs of life and technology. Upon finding even the most remote signs of life (including molecular DNA traces) the Survey Ship will land on a planet or moon and conduct manned survey with robotic assistance. Ships in the Xyrene Quadrant are tasked to find as much about the evolution of Alien life and study the Architecture & Culture of artifacts & ancient ruins.

| The Survey Class Research Ship R-011 is currently on mission in Quadrant X-23 - sector 07, where a strange signal beacon has accidentally been discovered. The Images below demonstrate LED illumination of the miniature and the Utilitarian Design of the ship.
