The Robots are integral to the setting on board the Deep Space Transport Shuttle. These pieces of Hardware not only fill in the background spaces of the ship, they are vital story telling tools in their own way. J-65 is not just a robot seemingly causing mischief on the ship, but a main character. Upgraded from a Jupitron series 6000 maintenance drone, J-65 is not only Mary Lou's sidekick but has become her connection to her missing partner and love interest Jack Halex.

The miniature version below was built from scratch at 5 inches in height & utilizes 8 LED's to simulate the Lighted features of the Large version. This mini J-65 was a challenge to make in 1/6 scale. The images below show the main parts before detailing was added and the hallway corridor set where J-65 will be cruising through during the pilot episode in production.

The motorized miniature Alien QuaDroid seen in the almost completed hallway Corridor. In the Xyrene Domain of space, there are many Alien societies with a highly advanced technology. These mysterious insect like drones are a combination of organic & synthetic compositions (mostly unknown to human science) that appear to be living organisms.

The Environemntal Maintenance Drones (EMD's) cruise the interiors of the Transport monitoring the ship's atmosphere and internal access systems. The droids communicate with the ship's main computer directly and have the ability to diagnose and fix problems with their on-board utility kits such as welding bulkheads and sealing loose panels and pipes. Other Robots and Hardware are under constuction as well and images will be posted as they reach completion.

The motorized Robot Lounge Server (currently getting a upgrade) takes care of passengers & crew. It is common to see Robots performing human type services on board spaceships and stations. They can access the DataNetworks and update their language and knowledge base to instantaneously communicate and respond providing high levels of service.
