The Quest for the Dark Planet Lounge Deck Eleven!

The Lounge interior set (Deck Eleven) is a key location backdrop for much of the dialog and character activity of this particular story installment. Of the Five interior sets, the Lounge Deck-Eleven is also the most vital to developing the main character Mary Lou Turbine as we see her interact with the transport crew personnel. The lounge is a converted Cargo Space hence the name: Deck Eleven and was decorated to create a relaxing and energetic environment for the crew to socialize and "escape from the normal routine" during their long voyages away from other humans into deep space. A robot bartender (not pictured) entertains the crew with the aid of a large Holo-Vid display that projects all kinds of media from News to various entertainment.

Below is a "in process" picture documenting the interior set lighting. The action Figure costumes still need to be finished as the set also needs to be painted and detailed. Notice the handmade miniature Fiber optic Art light sculptures. Each one is unique. The Furniture is all modified Barbi/12" Figure scale with some of the detail and fixtures coming from a cannibalized "American Idol" play set I found on clearance years ago.
