| The Quest for the Dark Planet Engine Room!
| The Starboard Engine Room set is the largest in scale and most complex of all of the sets! This set is a huge chasm that stands in scale to be over five stories in height and conveys the enormity of the transport from the inside. We see the Starboard side of the set with a catwalk that extends the length of the interior with a section that houses the starboard plasma injector.

| Below, a closeup of the completed Starboard Plasma Injector set with a Gal-West Engineer seen standing in frame. This photo test documents the completed set and demonstrates the combining of a computer generated plasma ernergy field graphic (a VFX element to be added during post production editing process) to match the lighting of the practical set. This set utlizes 15 LED's with 2 super bright red LED's illuminating a clear acrylic light transfering column on the model which adds to the realism of moving energy plasma flowing through the tube.

| The Main Engine Room model uses 42 LED's (with 2 sequencing circuits) to create an amazing array of effects and scale. This 1/72 scale miniature set was mostly scratch built with sheet Plastic Styrene, detail sections from a Space Shuttle model Gantry, the pods from a large Space 1999 Eagle toy, and other various details parts from model kits. The set features Red flashing lights (indicating engines are on and or running) and the clear Engine cylinder tubes change colors as part of the Ion drives intermix chambers. On the left side cat walk (under the red safety light & hidden behind the Trussing) there is a smaller scale Plasma Injector fiber optic. The camera will zoom and cut to the larger 1/6 scale set seen above for the action sequences as the large model here is used for establishing the size of the room/set.
